Carol started new photo challenge. It’s about October and photos that remind us of it. Everyone is invited to join. What do you have to do? Here are Carol’s explanations:
(1) place “October Photo Challenge” as part of your Title,
(2) link to http://adjustingyourfocus.wordpress.com/category/october-photo-challenge/, so others can join in on the fun,
(3) comment me with your post link,
(4) post a picture every day, or at least one day, showing what October means to you. Could be a harvest, delicious Autumn meal, hearty soup, eerie fog cascading over a glen, leaves falling off the trees, Halloween cookies, a Jack-o’-lantern, cute little Halloween costumes, the state fair coming to town, a special birthday, whatever is special to you during this October month.
Finally I found time and picture to participate too. It’s a picture of the missing flowers. They can’t survive the cold winter so my mum take them out of the pot. In the sring she will plant new flowers again and they will probably look like that.
This is an excellent example of new life… before it begins. The window boxes look so empty and barren… but that is the beauty of it all. As you say… in the spring there will be new plantings… new life.
I will be traveling for the rest of October. I will be back around November 1.
Thanks for the great comment again, Galen. Wish you to enjoy your journey as much as you can. 😀
Yes, indeed. All the lovely flowers and trees are ready to slumber, and as you said, new life will begin and sleepy eyes will open with the Spring. Great entry for October!! 😉
I am really glad you like it! 🙂
